STORY OF US
MOANA YACHTING and its founder’s history
Foulques de Raigniac always had a major passion in life: the Ocean…
and everything that allows riding on seas!
It started with surfing in the Atlantic coast of France in Vendée and Biarritz where he grew up.
Then came sailing, windsurfing, kite surfing, diving, stand up paddle, foiling…
Then the name MOANA "The Ocean" or "the Big Blue" in Maori. It came to describe this new yacht brokerage adventure, which is the outcome of a varied yachting career of 15 years.
Foulques started in 2003 at International Marine Shipyard as project manager for refits of 20 to 50 meters yachts in Toulon/Saint Mandrier sur mer IMS 300 facility.
IMS is now the largest refit shipyard in all the Mediterranean Sea.
Then he did his first yacht sales joining Gaspard Yachts in Cannes in 2006 as sales broker and yacht manager.
His missions in this dynamic human sized company also included charter management, charter retail, crew placement, marketing, yacht show organisation, company strategy and more.
With that unique experience in so many different aspects of the yachting industry he decided to focus on his best skill, yacht brokerage, by joining the oldest yachting company in the world as an independant sales broker in 2013.
5 years at Camper & Nicholsons remains another great memory and experience meeting amazing people with the highest levels of yachting expectations.
Strong of his wide network in the yachting industry and experience, Foulques has now been sailing with Moana Yachting for 5 years as CEO and founder
And realised in its first year of activity an impressive record of 6 sales, including two 40 meters yachts.
Foulques has a precise knowledge of today’s yacht sale’s market.
With a wide network of brokers, introducers, captains and clients, he has more chances to find the right buyer or seller to conclude yacht deals.
